A memorial video archive preserving patient stories associated with Empty Nose Syndrome and severe postoperative nasal symptoms after procedures including turbinate reduction, septoplasty, rhinoplasty and turbinectomy.
These videos document individual and family accounts. Inclusion in this archive does not by itself establish the medical cause of a person’s death or prove that a specific operation produced every later symptom. Where separate case pages exist, they distinguish reported history from independently documented medical evidence.
About the memorial archive
The original website brought together videos about people whose histories had become important within the ENS community. The redesigned version keeps that material accessible while presenting it in a calmer, more documentary format. The focus is on what each source records about nasal surgery, subsequent symptoms and the person’s experience.
Patient and family histories can reveal the human impact of persistent postoperative breathing problems. They cannot, however, answer epidemiological questions such as how often a complication occurs or establish causality to the same standard as a clinical investigation. For those questions, the research section should be read alongside this archive.
